Relatives here have been notified of the death of
Henry Reints which occurred at his home at Morris, Minn, recently.
Mr. Reints, a brother of Conrad and A. Reints, who live near
Lindenwood [IL], resided on a farm near here several years ago.
Willemine Fransen "Minnie" Beer Reints
Death: Friday, November 9, 1945 Mrs. Minnie Reints
highly esteemed resident of Darnen township for the past 43 years,
died at the Stevens County Hospital on Friday, November 9 [1945].
She was 75 years of age and had been in poor health for the past
three years.
Minnie Frances Beers was born in Verdun [Wirdum], Germany, on
October 10, 1870, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William [Wilhelm]
Beer. The family came to the United States in 1882, making their
home in Illinois, and there she grew to young womanhood. She was
united in marriage to Henry J. Reints at Rockford, Illinois on
January 30, 1888. Following their marriage they took up their
residence in Nebraska, living there for six years and then returning
again to Illinois. Eight years later they came to Stevens county to
make their home on a farm in Darnen.
Mrs. Reints was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away on
August 22, 1929.
Left to mourn her death are the following daughters and sons: Mrs.
Nellie Mayor of Clearwater, Calif., Raymond Reints of Monroe Center,
Ill., Mrs. Annie Wickstrom of Morris [MN], Ernest Reints of Morris,
Bud Reints of Morris, Floyd Reints of Morris, and Dorothy Reints of
Morris. Seven children preceded her in death. Surviving her also are
eleven grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Seipts of
Rockford, Ill., and Mrs Frances Taylor of Fairdale, Ill.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock
from the Olson Chapel. The Reverend Royal J. Gibson, pastor of the
Federated church, officiated at the rites. Interment was in Summitt
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Herman Neitzel, Emil Kroening, Ed Wagner, Robert
Ross, Arnold Fuchs, and John Lindenberger.
Those from a distance who were her to attend the funeral were Mrs.
Nellie Mayor of Clearwater, Calif., Raymond Reints of Monroe Center,
Ill., Mrs. Bettie Seipts of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Frances Taylor of
Fairdale, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Poppingo of Canby.

Mrs. Minnie Reints
Mrs. Albert Seipts, 1616 16th avenue, has gone to Morris, Minn.,
to attend funeral services for her sister, Mrs. Minnie Reints, who
died Saturday at a hospital here. Mrs. Reints had been ill
since August. Other survivors include a son, Ray Reints,
Monroe Center [IL].

Bud Reints Services Held Monday
Clarence [Bud] Reints, 63, long-time resident of the Morris area,
died March 26 [1970] in Morris. He had been ill for a few
months.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at the
Pedersen Funeral Home. Rev C.M. Grindland, pastor of First
Lutheran Church, officiated. Miss Florence Ortman was organist
and Mrs. Norman Kroening was soloist.
Pallbearers were Norman Kroening, Herman Kroening, Edward Hanlon,
Edward Schmidt, Dick Logan, and Orville Jensen, Interment was at
Summit Cemetery.
Deceased was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Reints on
July 19, 1906 at Morris. He resided in this community for most
of his life and farmed in Darnen township, except for three years
when he lived at Herman. He was married to Julia Prehn on
December 26, 1956, at Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Julia, of Morris; a step-son, Gary
Prehen, of Wilton Junction, Ia.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Darlene
Amborn, of Fridley; five grandchildren; three brothers, Ray of
Rochelle, Ill., and Ernest and Floyd of Morris; and three sisters,
Mrs.. Nellie Mayor of Paramount, Ca., Mrs. Oscar [Annie] Wickstrom
of Morris, and Mrs. Reidar [Dorothy] Frykbloom of Morris.
Arrangements were with Pedersen Funeral Home, Morris.
